Austria – 2004, 2010 and 2016

austria teaser

Hi guys,

finally it’s done. I’ve designed accurate Austrian scenarios (with an Austrian map). Here are the upcoming 2016 election and the historical elections of 2010 and 2004. They are on the campaign’s page. More will follow!

I know there are many things to do (issues, endorsers, hypothetical candidates and so on…) and I’ll do them asap. You can help, if you want.

For the 2016 election, I’ll update candidates when more are announced.

Have fun and stay tuned. Any feedback is welcome. Thanks! 🙂 (next thing on the list, is preparing a 1998 scenario.

Luki

New things in the scenarios:

  • changed dates = a longer game play is now possible
  • changed %s (in 2016 a new poll was released, so I updated the poll numbers for the General Election)
  • one new candidate for social democrats
  • new (Austrian) issues in 2004
  • new endorsers
  • other minor fixes

Austrian scenarios v. 1.4.3

*last updated: 02/16/2016*

Please note that we don’t have an actual electoral college (popular vote counts), sadly no vice president and no primaries. A runoff election is necessary, if no candidate gets 50% + 1 vote in the first round.

1972 – Communists

scenario

United States – Communists

The Communists are the popular party. The traditional parties have had a bad four years. Will the Republicrats be able to retain control? or will the Communists take over and start to put in their policies? The Communists have won control of both houses in the mid-term elections. There are many openings on the Supreme Court. If a Communist wins, there will be a majority of pro-Communist judges on it. Can someone stop the Communist wave or will the US turn into a Communist nation?

Republicrats:

Ronald Reagan (on)

Richard Nixon (on)

Hubert Humphrey (on)

Nelson Rockefeller (on)

George Romney (on)

George Wallace (on)

Update 1.1: added Hiram Fong (on-favorite son candidate)

Update 1.4: adjusted some of Fong’s numbers

Jim Rhodes (on-favorite son candidate)

Update 1.2: added Stephen Young (on-favorite son)

Communists:

Gus Hall (on)

Update 1.1: added Charlene Mitchell (off)

Update 1.2: Added Jarvis Tyner (off)

Update 1.4: Added Evelyn Reed (off)

Centrist Party (off):

Update 1.2: Added Centrist Party

Added George McGovern (off)

Observation:

Update 1.2 Added Observation Party

Update 1.3: Fixed some data dealing with the Observation Party as well as its bio.

Update 1.3: Corrected Electoral Vote numbers

President Infinity – 2008 – Expanded Version

2008_scenario

Constitution Party as a third party.

I have also added Michael Bloomberg as an endorser.

Please feel free to give feedback.

United States – 2008 – Expanded

United States 2002 (West Wing Scenario)

West Wing Fans:

In a move that shocked both his closest advisors and his family, Josiah Bartlet has announced his plans to run for reelection. Hampered by his medical condition and an ongoing Congressional investigation, the public largely distrusts the incumbent. Will Bartlet be able to convince the electorate that he is deserving of four more years after having misled them before?

This scenario models the 2002 election that took place between Robert Ritchie and Jed Bartlet on the television show The West Wing. Featuring authentic candidates, polling, endorsers, and actual events from the show, this scenario strives to parallel everything depicted from the series.

As this is my first published scenario, please inform me of any problems that you may encounter. Feedback is always appreciated.

Enjoy!

2016 Election – Trump/Carson 3rd Party

Untitled

What if Trump and Carson do leave the Republican Party, taking half of their supporters with them? Does America slowly devolve into a one major party state?

Republicans nominate a moderate conservative, rather than resigning the party to radical members. The establishment has three months to convince Trump supporters to unite in order to prevent a Democratic 3rd term and avert the worst Republican defeat since LBJ crushed Goldwater in 1964.

The Democrats appear to have an easy victory, facing a split Republican Party. Can Clinton coast to a mandate or will she under perform due to a perceived easy win?

The Independent Party under Trump are composed of a hodge-podge of unhappy Republicans, independent conservatives and people that vote only for celebrities that they’ve heard of. They are tired of the establishment Republicans, and seem bent on dragging their former party down, rather than working with moderates to prevent Hillary Clinton from winning.

Could this election be the last of the Republican Party? Could it result in a new major party, several major parties, or leave one major party to dominate the country for elections to come?

Um Al-Mohajshahr 2010

Um Al-Mohajshahr 2010

Author: Treasurer of the PC

Description: Um Al-Mohajshahr is a Middle Eastern Islamic oil rich nation located near the Hojabi desert. Ayatollah Shahid Zaman, the Supreme Leader has called for a snap election after serious claims and loss of confidence in the Conservative Clergy to Allah Governate, after recent events of out-of-control money laundering & bribery with CCA splinter groups to fight against the Militant Mujahideen. This had led to failure to tackle the “Privatisation Debt Deficit” following “The Great Alikaz Selloff” in 2007. Islamic Solidarity want a modern Islamic constitution free from greed. Democratic Reform appeals for greater changes including gender equality and Sharia Law modernisation. The Militant Mujahideen are growing in support. Can the CCA cling on to power and repair the nation as they did when elected 12 years ago?
