United Kingdom – 2010: Infinity Edition

leaders_debate_1621999cUnited Kingdom – 2010: The Infinity Edition

Hello all, after much work I am very proud to announce the first release of my very first scenario created publicly: the UK General Election of 2010 for PMI! Now, with all of the constituencies compared to other games, PMI scenarios take a lot of time to create, but luckily with Prime Minister Forever I was able to base much of this scenario off of that one and cut the time down significantly. As I said earlier, these particular scenarios do take a lot of time and commitment, but it is definitely worth to look at what you’ve created at the end and encourage others to give it a go.

Moving on to the scenario itself, the main things I have done:

1.1.0 Release:

  • There were a couple constituencies with the wrong values for third parties, notably Blackburn. This has been corrected.
  • The Respect Party is added with candidates!
  • Respect Leader Salma Yaqoob and alternate leader George Galloway added.

1.0.0 Release:

  • Added Conservative candidates: David Cameron, David Davis, Liam Fox, Kenneth Clarke, and Michael Howard
  • Added Labour candidates: Gordon Brown, David Miliband, Harriet Harman, John McDonnell, Tony Blair
  • Added Liberal candidates: Nick Clegg, Chris Huhne, Vince Cable, David Laws, Charles Kennedy
  • Added SNP candidates: Alex Salmond, Nicola Sturgeon
  • Added Green candidate: Carolina Lucas
  • Added UKIP candidates: Malcolm Pearson, Nigel Farage
  • Added Nick Griffin and the BNP.
  • Added regional parties and leaders.
  • Changed Lib Dem organization from 1 -> 2 in all constituencies.
  • Finished the percentages and candidates of all 650 seats.

One of the other things I will have to finish will be to change the populations of the constituencies from 2015 to 2010, deal with balancing, ect, but I feel that it is at least good now for a sort of beta release. If you feel the need to correct a mistake in this scenario, balances, a policy correction on a candidate, suggestions, or whatever, feel free to tell me and I’ll do my best to deal with it. Last but not least, please enjoy this scenario!

Canada 1957

Canada – Fixed – 1957

The Liberal Party has governed Canada for 22 years with five consecutive majority governments under first Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King, then succeeded in 1948 by Justice Minister Louis St. Laurent. Though the economy is strong and St. Laurent himself remains popular, he excercises little supervision over his cabinet ministers, and several controversies have arisen of late. The Progressive Consevatives, under their new leader, the charismatic John Diefenbaker, plan to run a campaign potraying the Liberals as arrogant and out-of-touch, while the Liberals campaign on the national prosperity and their claim there’s no need to change.

President Infinity Sentinel’s 1992 Election – Alpha – Updated 3/22/2016

Sentinel’s 1992 Presidential Election for President Infinity – Alpha Version – V 0.03

I’m working on a historical (with ahistorical options) for the 1992 Presidential election. You can download and play the alpha version here. Please note that this is nowhere near complete. Many features from the 2008 Beta are still in this game.

What Is Done – 3/22/16 Update

-My apologies for not updating sooner! I will try to update more, but in the meantime the new version has the Republican primaries completed — at least the dates are. I haven’t found delegate counts yet but this will suffice. Note that some states did not have primaries in 1992 and they still do not in this scenario. There may be some other edits but I simply don’t remember them.

-Oh, it looks like I added some issues as well.

What Is Done (includes 11/27 Update)

-Added historical and a few extra Democratic and Republican candidates. (ISSUES ARE NOT DONE)

-Finished a lot of background numbers — electoral votes, 1994 state partisanship spreads (as best as I could allocate it). I used 1994 b/c I can’t find 1992.

-Finished all Democratic primary numbers. Note, the starting cash amounts for Democratic candidates is cash on hand on October 1st 1991.

-Started GOP primary numbers, still a work in progress.

-Messing around with an “unaffiliated voters” party just to see how it effects game dynamics

Also, I plan on adding a slew of characters, updated endorsers, updated issues, etc.

Enjoy.

    July 1st, 2016

The Libertarian Debate has been moved to April 1st 2016, the date of the upcoming Fox Business debate.  Ballot access has been updated to all 50 states, as the party appears to be on track to be on every ballot.
  • Spectator Party:
No money and no ballot access means you are free to observe the election as it unfolds.
  • Polling Boost for Bloomberg:
He starts with at least 8% nationwide, and more in the northeast.
  • Vice-Presidents for Bloomberg:
    Gov. Ed Rendell
    Mr. Howard Schultz
    Gov. Charlie Crist
    Rep. Joe Scarborough
    Gov. Bill Walker

Brazil – 2018

brasil 2018

Hello! After the 2014 election I bring you the 2018 election This is the first version in future updates will be added many more candidates. And a warning, since it is speculated that the 2018 election had broken the 1989 the record for the highest number of candidates, with so many options, many with strong electoral weight, the election is quite unpredictable and with a small difference between the winner and the next placed in all the tests I did.

Nevada Senate-2016 (Beta)

PINV2016

Nevada Senate 2016 (v 1.0)

This is an incredibly rough Nevada Senate race.  This was mainly me playing around with the new features.  Many things need to be adjusted but the bare bones are there.

I did a couple things I would like feedback on:

  • I tried to compensate for the Electoral Vote aspect by giving each county the number of votes as they have in thousands of people.  So 20,000 population is 20 EV’s.  I also changed them all to PR so (hopefully) it will divide them by vote share and give a realistic result. (Though it appears that this didn’t work…)
  • I made a duplicate of the candidate as the “VP” since Senators don’t have running mates.
  • I have no clue why my endorsers aren’t working…

Luki’s new maps!
