Election 1976 A Country Betrayed

United States – 1976 – A Country Betrayed

church1976

The year is 1976. Gerald Ford is President. However, no one elected him. He is a product of Watergate. A scandal that has left Americans disgusted with American politics.

The Democrats senses an opportunity. A large field of candidates has entered the field. However, can the understand the power of the primaries? Jimmy Carter an unknown outsider from Georgia seems to have noticed them. Or will the last minute candidacies of Frank Church and Jerry Brown succeed?

Further, Ford is being challenged on the right by Ronald Reagan.

The fate of the country is in your hands. Can you rewrite history? Restore American Democracy?

Enjoy and let me know if you have any tips or comments!

**Note McCarthy the independent is not available as of now. I was unable to add him. This was due to an error on the Party tab in candidateditor. I will add him if demand is intense. Or if someone has any advice or will do it, I would be grateful.

Election 1964 – A Country in Disarray

vote64

The year is 1964. Kennedy has been killed and Lyndon Johnson is President. America is grieving and LBJ is offering new political reforms.LBJ seems unstoppable.

However, Johnson liberal stance on civil rights has illicited a challenge from within his party by George Wallace. Further, some Republicans seek to capitalize on Johnson’s Civil Rights stance. However, the Republican Party is divided between the conservative and liberal wing. Can the Republican Party unite to defeat Johnson? Or will you as Johnson crush the Republicans?

This election has many what if scenarios:

What if JFK lived and ran for a second term?

What if Bobby Kennedy challenged LBJ?

What if Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, George Romney, Milton Eisenhower, Thomas Dewey, General J. Lawton Collins, or for fun John Wayne ran in the Republican primary?

Enjoy!

United Kingdom – 2010: Infinity Edition

Hello all, after much work I am very proud to announce the first release of my very first scenario created publicly: the UK General Election of 2010 for PMI! Now, with all of the constituencies compared to other games, PMI scenarios take a lot of time to create, but luckily with Prime Minister Forever I was able to base much of this scenario off of that one and cut the time down significantly. As I said earlier, these particular scenarios do take a lot of time and commitment, but it is definitely worth to look at what you’ve created at the end and encourage others to give it a go.

Download Here: United Kingdom – 2010 1.1.0

Moving on to the scenario itself, the main things I have done:

1.1.0 Release:

  • There were a couple constituencies with the wrong values for third parties, notably Blackburn. This has been corrected.
  • The Respect Party is added with candidates!
  • Respect Leader Salma Yaqoob and alternate leader George Galloway added.

1.0.0 Release:

  • Added Conservative candidates: David Cameron, David Davis, Liam Fox, Kenneth Clarke, and Michael Howard
  • Added Labour candidates: Gordon Brown, David Miliband, Harriet Harman, John McDonnell, Tony Blair
  • Added Liberal candidates: Nick Clegg, Chris Huhne, Vince Cable, David Laws, Charles Kennedy
  • Added SNP candidates: Alex Salmond, Nicola Sturgeon
  • Added Green candidate: Carolina Lucas
  • Added UKIP candidates: Malcolm Pearson, Nigel Farage
  • Added Nick Griffin and the BNP.
  • Added regional parties and leaders.
  • Changed Lib Dem organization from 1 -> 2 in all constituencies.
  • Finished the percentages and candidates of all 650 seats.

One of the other things I will have to finish will be to change the populations of the constituencies from 2015 to 2010, deal with balancing, ect, but I feel that it is at least good now for a sort of beta release. If you feel the need to correct a mistake in this scenario, balances, a policy correction on a candidate, suggestions, or whatever, feel free to tell me and I’ll do my best to deal with it. Last but not least, please enjoy this scenario!

Canada 1957

Canada – Fixed – 1957

The Liberal Party has governed Canada for 22 years with five consecutive majority governments under first Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King, then succeeded in 1948 by Justice Minister Louis St. Laurent. Though the economy is strong and St. Laurent himself remains popular, he excercises little supervision over his cabinet ministers, and several controversies have arisen of late. The Progressive Consevatives, under their new leader, the charismatic John Diefenbaker, plan to run a campaign potraying the Liberals as arrogant and out-of-touch, while the Liberals campaign on the national prosperity and their claim there’s no need to change.
